Features:

Direct Replacement: Rear crankshaft oil seal and wear sleeve installer J-44642 alternative.

Function: Designed to install the seal to correct depth and alignment. The crankshaft rear seal is fitted to both the engine block and crankshaft. Fit of the inner and outer seal bodies is critical and any misalignment can result in leakage.

This tool set installs the rear crankshaft wear sleeves and seals. It eliminates lip flare on the wear sleeve and installs the seal properly. Prevent seal leakage.

How to install ?

1. Ensure that the crankshaft is free of oil and dirt.

2. Clean the seal bore in the flywheel housing.

3. Position the crankshaft rear oil seal onto the crankshaft.

4. Install J-44642 to the crankshaft.

5. Press the crankshaft rear oil seal into position using J-44642, the tool will bottom out when the seal reaches the proper depth.

6. Remove J 44642.

7. Install the flywheel.
