How to Create a Perfect Flare

Securely mount the tool in a vise with the flat face die.
Select the correct die size for your tubing, place the tube between the die halves, and tighten the clamps.
Align the OP.0 cone with the tube port and press it in.
Select the OP.1 reaming cone, align it with the tube port, and turn the handle to press it in.
For a double flare, select the OP.2 cone and repeat the operation.

Usage Tips

Always deburr the inside and outside of the tubing before flaring.
Apply a small amount of anti-seize lubricant to the end of the tubing and a little oil to the flaring cones (OP.1 & OP.2).
Remember to place the appropriate fittings onto the tubing before starting the flaring process.
